About the Banshees The Wenatchee Banshees is a recreational women's hockey team located in Wenatchee, Washington. The women on our team range in age from 18 to 50+. You DO NOT need to know anything about hockey, or even how to skate, to play with us. Our team is all about getting a good workout, learning the basics of the game, and MOST importantly, having lots of FUN! Our season typically runs from early October through mid-April and we usually play in one or two tournaments each month. Tournament participation is COMPLETELY voluntary and guarantees loads of fun. If you don't want to travel or play in any tournaments, that's okay too. The Banshees are always looking for new players, so if you're even the LEAST, little bit interested you should definitely click on the "Contact Us" link and send us an email.
